There isn't a giant supermarket in the Valley. But there are a decent handfull of reasonable shops where you can get everything you need plus some great local food from the surrounding farms.
Yup, it’s that Shaws. This isn’t a very big one but it probably has the best prices and you can find most of what you need.
Mehurons (Waitsfield)
This is a local family owned market that’s been around for eons. They have regular groceries as well as produced and meat from local farm. There is also an attached liquor store.
East Warren Community Market (Waitsfield)
We just discovered this little place. It’s truly a little country store. Expect to pay ridiculous prices for staples but they do have some interesting stuff. Worth the trip for the coffee.
