Worthy Burger Too (Waitsfield)

Worthy Burger might be our favorite. It’s a super-casual place for burgers But vegetarians, dont disppair. The veggie-burgers are pretty darn good. Probably some of the best beers in the valley. And when you’re there you have to try the Truffle Fries and the Donuts!

Lawsons Finest Liquids (Waitsfield)

Just opened in the Fall of ‘18, this place is great anytime of year. It’s really a tap room/beer hall and it’s not a place to go for a meal. But they do have some aweome snacks (try the pretzel!). Plenty of games for the kids to enjoy. And the beer…whoa….the beer is phenomonal! Sip of Sunshine is their premier IPA and it’s darn near perfect. Don’t be afraid to try some of their other brews, you won’t be dissapointed.

The Mad Taco (Waitsfield)

You will not find a better taco on the East Coast.  This may be one of our favorite places in the Valley.  Great, creative food and a killer beer list.

Bluestone Pizza (Waitsfield)

These guys make a good pizza.  It’s much better than your average greasy pizza joint.  Lots of ingredients are locally sourced.  Decent beer list as well

Three Mountain Cafe (Waitsfield)

This is a good little coffee shop.  It's a reasonable place ot get a coffee with no attitude.

The Sweet Spot (Waitsfield)

This place is convenvient.  It's right at the Great Eddy Bridge.  You can grab a coffee and a treat and hang out by the river.  From that angle, the place is great.  But the past few times I have to say the staff has been less than friendly.  They seem to be annoyed to have to wait on you.  Worth going for the coffee/food but don't expect awesome service.

Canteen Creamie (Waitsfield)

This is a fun place.  For the uninitiated, a "creamie" is essentially soft serve ice cream and they are REALLY good.  Canteen makes some really interesting ones like key-lime, coconut and maple.  They also make some great food.  You order at the window and then take your food to go or find a picnic table.  In the bad weather there is a small inside area to sit.  This should defienitly be on your list to visit.

This is a combo restaurant and movie theater.  We have yet to catch a movie here.  But the food is great.  Awesome place for brunch.  Try to get there early as it can get a bit crowded.

Prohibition Pig (Waterbury)

This is always a fun place to eat.  Not ideal for vegetarians, but you can certainly find something your looking for.  The menu is inventive and the beer list is also amazing.  It’s about a 25min drive from the house North on 100, but well worth the excursion.

The Warren General Store is a great place to grab lunch if you're out and about.  It's a deli and convenience store.  It definietly feels like a Vermont-type of place: old wood floors, crowded shelves and unique stuff.  Check out upstairs too.  It's a funky gift shop.
